NP550 – quick easy and mess free elimination prints

Elimination Prints Research has been conducted of Crime Scene Statistics and it has been established that elimination fingerprints are obtained in respect of only 24% of scenes from where latent fingerprints are lifted.

The national fingerprint database (NAFIS) demands quality fingerprint submissions which makes elimination prints an essential qualitative issue in fingerprint identification.

NeatPrints have developed a new, versatile, clean and easy to use semi inkless product the size of a credit card. The single digit print kit is ideal for elimination prints at the scene of a crime. It can also be used in conjunction with Fixed penalty notices (police copy) to obtain the offenders fingerprint identity. The NP550 fits easily into a normal wallet whereas the NP500 has a ‘sticky backed’ facility for incorporating into the FPN carrier.

Recent tests undertaken have indicated that if used with care an average of 500 prints can be obtained from the one pad.
